Front Row with Liz
Hi, and welcome to the Front Row Newsetter Page for my latest book. You’re here because you want to be part of my journey and share this story with me, and I appreciate you MASSIVELY!
I’ve never written a book before.
I thought it’d be easy.
I would hear stories about authors who spent years (usually holed up in a beautiful cabin somewhere in the forest) labouring over their works of art. And I’d think, “Pfff. What’s the problem? It’s only a few words…how hard can it be?”
Oh. Dear. How. Wrong. I. Was!!
For the past two years, I have been on an emotional rollercoaster with my first book, but now, I am excited to say that it is almost done, and I am getting ready to launch.
Because I have no real friends and Brian (my husband) is sick of hearing about it, I thought I’d reach out to my audience and ask them if they’d like to follow along on this final journey. Keep me company. Hold my hand. It’s going to be an experience and one that I would prefer not to do alone.
And now lookie here! You are about to join me!
Over the coming weeks, I will share everything I have by means of email or a short video and document what it looks like when a complete newbie publishes a book.
Settle down, and get comfy…the show will commence soon. (I just have to go and wake up the projectionist. She’s drunk. Again)
Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to get to know you better!
Liz x
