A year ago, I was terrified of being alone.
When we started this year-long nomadic healing journey, I was convinced that if I let my family out of my sight, something terrible would happen to them; that they’d all die, and I’d be left with no one.
This was all part of grief. I know that now. But it affected not just me but also Brian and the kids.
Now, fifteen months into our journey, we share what’s changed. The fear has finally loosened its grip on my heart, and I can safely let people out of my sight without dreading them never returning.
Today, we share how we felt leaving Greece a year ago and how we feel now. The physical and mental health challenges, financial pressures, uncertainty and some pretty big challenges.
This is a very honest conversation between a husband and wife, about what this family healing journey has really done to us. And we are honoured to have you here to listen.
