Opting out of the American dream for a life in New Zealand

Opting out of the American dream for a life in New Zealand

Turning your back on the American dream for a new life in New Zealand.

Is it possible, for a couple in their late fifties to leave everything behind, move to the other side of the world and create a new life in New Zealand?

It certainly is. Not only is it possible but, according to some, it is what keeps you young and life exciting!

In this week’s show, I talked with Sheri. Sheri was the director of a hospital in the USA. She and her husband Dan spent the past thirty years building a comfortable life together for themselves and their family.

And then two of her children moved to New Zealand and took the grandchildren with them.

So what did Dan and Sheri do? They stepped out of the American dream and they followed their hearts. They opted for an adventure. They started all over again.

This is their story.

Quitting Canada to Retire in New Zealand. WHY??

Quitting Canada to Retire in New Zealand. WHY??

In this week’s show, we are excited to introduce Randy and Suzanne, a couple who have lived together in Ontario Canada, for the past thirty years. Randy is Canadian and Suzanne is a kiwi. She was born in New Zealand, moved to Canada when she was seventeen years old. She met Randy, fell in love,  and the rest is history!

But. The story doesn’t end there.

Later this year, Randy and Suzanne are going to leave Canada for good and retire in New Zealand

You are about to find out why…
