Why Do People Choose To Move To New Zealand?

New Zealand has a lot of things going for it.

It’s a wonderful place to raise kids, the New Zealand food is tasty and diverse, and building a house in New Zealand is not something that is reserved for the super-rich.

New Zealand people are welcoming and easygoing, the weather is favourable, and recently Auckland, New Zealand was voted the #1 place in the world to live.

Add to this, New Zealand’s admirable management of the world pandemic and it’s no wonder that people are flocking to the borders and trying to add Jacinda as a friend on Twitter.

Once we arrived, we realised that we were not alone. Others, just like us, had those exact same worries.

Let’s Talk About New Zealand…

In this week’s podcast episode, we thought it would be fun to discuss 6 common fears that people share about living in New Zealand.

(The things that, no matter how green the grass is on the other side, prevent them from calling Aotearoa home).

We recorded this podcast as we were sitting underneath a dormant volcano. Mt Taranaki. You can watch the video below.

Fun fact! Taranaki, a region on the West coast of New Zealand was voted the second-best region in the world to live in 2017!
